There are some historical lies about slavery that are pushed pretty consistently by Right-wing sources. Of course when it comes to tackling these topics, I always have to think, "Am I giving the lie more power by spreading it, or helping to dismantle it?"
So, I haven't dealt with these particular lies in our comic before. But the DeSantis appointee spreading them was a perfect chance for me to address them.
